Blue Seal of Excellence

 

Until the early 1970's, consumers had no way to distinguish between incompetent and competent mechanics.

 

In response to this need, the independent, non-profit National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) was established in 1972. ASE's mission is to improve the quality of vehicle repair and service through the testing and certification of repair and service professionals.

 

Upon passing at least one exam and after providing proof of two years of relevant work experience, the test taker becomes ASE certified. Certification, however, is not for life. To remain certified those with ASE credentials must be retested every five years.

 

All of our technicians are ASE certified and take continuing education classes to keep up with ever-changing technologies.

    Company Profile

    Apex AutoWorks, Inc. is a family-owned, full-service auto repair shop providing service for both import and domestic vehicles. Opening in February 2003, the story of its conception is a testament to the hard work and dedication required for owners Jerry Gala and Greg Cole to put a decade-old dream into action.

    In fact, The Cary News chronicled the shop's first year, covering the highs and lows but, more importantly, capturing their vision to create an auto shop that the public could trust.

    All Apex AutoWorks technicians are ASE Certified/Master Technicians, meaning they have years of experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles and are tested regularly to ensure they've retained adequate credential and skill levels.

    Apex Autoworks is not only committed to its customers, but also to the betterment of the industry. We bring in speakers from across the country to hold training seminars on the newest computer and electrical systems for top-level technicians from the Triangle and surrounding areas. Many of these speakers are the actual people who developed the equipment being used today by dealers and independent shops alike.
